Who we are looking for

We’re not looking for the perfect CV. We’re looking for the person who gets things done, takes ownership and makes the team better. Most people manage projects. We’re looking for someone who owns them from first brief to final delivery, no excuses. Bonus points if you actually enjoy a tight deadline.

Job Description

As Project Manager you are the link between the client, supplier and our team. You oversee the entire process. from the first request to delivery at the client. You keep track of multiple projects simultaneously, think commercially and take ownership without being asked. No two days are the same. One day you’re deep in a quotation, the next you’re speaking to a factory in China or walking the floor at an international trade fair or one of our manufacturers

What you’ll be doing

Managing projects from request to delivery
Coordinating with clients and manufacturers on pricing, quality and planning
Preparing quotations and making sure no detail gets lost
Keeping tight control over progress, deadlines and margins
Spotting opportunities for new clients and products
Visiting clients, factories and international trade fairs
Contributing to process improvement, commercial growth and strategy

What we expect from you

Positive, driven and with a winner’s mentality — without the ego
Open to feedback and using it to grow
You take ownership and manage deadlines and quality without being micromanaged
At least 1 year of relevant work or internship experience
Fluent in Dutch and English
Commercially minded, client-focused and creative in solving problems
Experience in import/export, product development or international sourcing is a strong plus
Based in the Amsterdam area
You report your progress in our project managment tools and your projects are always up to date
